In between all the trips there is still work that needs to be done. As mentioned last, no autumn break for us. It was immediately back to work. Design something digital about the place you're from. Easier said than done. For starters I know nothing about digital design, second of all: what the * bleep * do you do with Belgium?!? But oh well here we go again!

As I mentioned before here I study graphic design (don't ask me how that happened). But even though I'm very interested in this field we don't have all the skills the others have. But I find that the guidance here is wonderful. You are genuinely perceived as a person and not just another student. In my class they take your background into account, which makes that you can grow on your own speed. Still they won't hold your hand, you'll have to do it all yourself but, they guide you in the right direction. And it's not only the teachers but also my fellow students are very helpful and provide lots of good feedback.

But it's not always that serious, a little while ago the second years graphic design had organised an event for all the graphic design students. Yay! The ultimate moment to reunite with our Norwegian class mates of whom most left for an internship. After some chatting and catching up there was a quiz. We were encouraged to have an as random as possible group. So with a bunch of strangers we combined our knowledge and in the end we somehow managed to win the quiz. The team spirit was always there because somehow we were all dressed in black and white. Our price was some candy yay! And I officially reviewed the Norwegian snack: Smash. It is basically buggles dipped in chocolate, a bit weird combination but not bad at all!

Let's review some more food. On Friday our cafeteria serves burger, this week I decided to try it, until I noticed it was MOOSEburger. Those poor animals. But at that point I wanted a burger too badly, so I might as well go for it. So it basically almost tasted like a normal burger, though the next time I'll let the moose live.

Since we don't actually have to be at school that often, we don't hate the place and we actually hang out a lot there. We work on our projects together and in the evenings we often do movie nights at school. We just head to the auditorium (very good chairs there, fluffy and niiice) or any free classroom and take over the projector. Lately we decided erasmus isn't multi cultural enough and tapped into the Bollywood world.

project stuffff (you see, I'm a designer now ;-) )
